Mike is one of the north east of England’s most prolific authors regarding paranormal phenomena and the supernatural, covering a wide variety of subjects including, UFOs, ghosts and hauntings, “imaginary” childhood friends and poltergeistry.
Mike’s first book was Herbal Healing, a concise introduction to plant medicines and their uses.
He has also written extensively about local history, and in 2009 penned South Shields Through Time, a photographic “then and now” history of one of England’s most attractive coastal resorts.
BBC TV presenter Simon Willis, who interviewed Mike when
his first book, Herbal Healing, was released.
“Simon is one of the nicest journalists I’ve met”, says Mike.
